Samsung in its blog stated that, it sold four times as many foldable phones in the year 2021 than in 2020. This also revealed that the foldable phones have not been a failure as many believed. Apart from that, the blog also credited towards the success of two foldable Samsung phones, namely Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip 3, which were proclaimed that the phones were off track from mainstream phones.

On the other hand, Samsung is yet to release the data for sales of foldable phones. Yet the company is optimistic about the slow growth and entry in the market for its foldable phones.

Sales are projected to be in the high single-digit millions or be in the low two-digit millions. Apart from that, it is predicted that by the end of 2023, the sales of foldable phones would likely increase by ten times.
