A number of celebrities, businesspeople, athletes, and political figures have been invited to the January 22 consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya.
In the Uttar Pradesh temple town, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend the Pran Pratistha ceremony.
Beginning one week prior to the major celebration on January 16, Vedic rites will be performed for Ram Lalla’s Pran-Pratishtha ceremony in Ayodhya. On January 22, Lakshmi Kant Dixit, a priest from Varanasi, will conduct the principal ceremonies. The Amrit Mahotsav will be celebrated in Ayodhya from January 14 to January 22.
On January 22, the day of “pran-pratistha,” over a lakh pilgrims are anticipated to swarm the temple town. Approximately 7,000 guests, both foreign and Indian, are on the invitee list, according to sources. 6000 invitees from all over the country have received their invitations to the big consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla. The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has sent these invitation cards to over 6,000 individuals.
Politicians such as Sonia Gandhi, the leader of the Congress, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Manmohan Singh, the senior congress leader, Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, HD Deve Gowda, Communist Party of India (Marxist), BJP Veteran LK Advani, BJP’s Murli Manohar Joshi, and Himachal Pradesh Minister Vikramaditya Singh are among those invited.
