Tekriwal, one of India’s wealthiest women, boasts an impressive net worth of approximately Rs 420 crore. At the young age of 22, she resolved to launch her aviation-based startup following a battle with cancer. Her enterprise flourished to such an extent that she now possesses 10 private jets.
JetSetGo, a pioneering force in India’s aircraft leasing sector, has efficiently transported nearly 100,000 passengers. With a remarkable track record of executing 6,000 flights, the company has left an indelible mark in the industry.
Born into a Marwari family in 1990, Kanika Tekriwal embarked on her entrepreneurial journey in 2012 with the founding of JetSetGo. She received her education from the Lawrence School, Lovedale, and Jawaharlal Nehru Senior Secondary School in Bhopal, later graduating from Coventry University. Notably, she ranks among the young wealthiest women on the Hurun Rich List. Despite being diagnosed with cancer in her early 20s, she persevered. Kanika is married to a businessman based in Hyderabad.
Her business acumen has earned her numerous accolades, including the National Entrepreneurship Award from the Government of India and recognition as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum.
