WhatsApp is testing its latest privacy-related feature on a beta version of WhatsApp on iOS. This feature has already been updated for its Android users and in no time, it will be available for its iOS users to utilize as well.

These disappearing messages will not be limited just to test messages, this feature will be applicable for media as well. It will be like one of those features of Instagram where the videos and photos disappear as soon as you open them. The new feature is called ‘view once’ and will be available for both parties to access before disappearing. The media will disappear as soon as the recipient has opened it, however the text messages will take 7 days to disappear.
