The new Volkswagen Taigun, which was launched recently in the last month has a price point from Rs. 10.49 lakh to Rs.17.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The German Auto brand has introduced Taigun as its first compact crossover vehicle, under the program of India 2.0. Since Taigun is offered at a competitive pricing, Volkswagen has made other offers available or rather options to own this SUV. Taigun is now offered on a subscription basis by the German carmaker with monthly rentals beginning at Rs. 28000. It has partnered with ORIX Auto Infrastructure Services Ltd., (an omini Channel Mobility Solution provider) to provide a monthly subscription to the customer for Taigun.
This service by the German Auto maker will be available at thirty Volkswagen outlets located in seven cities of the country namely, Delhi NCR, Pune, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, and Chennai. All these locations come under the Phase 1 part of the new subscription model, which has gone live since 1st October 2021. The company is projecting to offer new schemes at different locations in a phased way.
Volkswagen launched the subscription initiative for models like Vento, T-Roc, and Polo previously in the last year.
