Larsen & Toubro (L&T) reported a consolidated net profit of Rs. 2,229 crores for the fiscal quarter that ended September 30, 2022, on Monday. This represents a nearly 22.5 percent increase over the previous quarter’s figure of 1819.45 crores.
Consolidated revenue increased nearly 23% year on year to 42,763 crores for the period under review, up from 34772.90 crores the previous year.
International revenues totaled 15,473 crores during the quarter, accounting for 36% of total revenue.
During the quarter, L&T’s consolidated order intake increased by 23% to 51,914 crores, with international markets accounting for 33% of the total order inflow. According to the company, the topline growth was driven by solid execution in the mainstay infrastructure segment and sustained growth momentum in the IT and technology services portfolio.
On the BSE, L&T shares rose 2.5 percent to settle at 2,023.95 per share.
