Asia’s richest person and the chairman of Adani Group, Gautam Adani along with his family pledged to donate ₹60,000 Cr for social causes, to mark his 60th birthday.
Adani told in an interview that Adani Foundation will be managing this donation, for bolstering health care, education, and skill development. It is the major transfers made to a foundation in the Indian corporate history.
He also revealed that, in addition to being the 100th birth anniversary of his motivating father, this year, also happens to be the year of his 60th birthday. Therefore, his family decided to contribute ₹60K crores towards generous activities related to education, healthcare, and skill development, especially in the rural regions of the nation.
