Air Works Group is the country’s largest transit or line maintenance services provider to international passenger and cargo carriers. According to Indian Express, the Adani Group is considering investing in India’s largest independent aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRP) firm.

Air Works serves IndiGo, GoAir, and Vistara, in addition to over a dozen international airlines such as Lufthansa, Turkish Airlines, FlyDubai, Etihad, and Virgin Atlantic. The Indian Navy is also one of IT’s clients. Air Works Group is the largest provider of transit or line maintenance services to foreign passenger and cargo carriers operating in India, with a presence across 19 international airports.

Changing tyers, inspecting aircraft lights for functionality, topping up engine oil, and charging hydraulic accumulators are all examples of line maintenance labor. According to the statement, Air Works has certifications from aviation authorities in over 25 countries to maintain both narrow and wide-body aircraft at major airports.

The Adani Group said on Friday that it had purchased a 50% equity share in agricultural drone start-up General Aeronautics for an undisclosed sum.
