The consolidated revenue from the operations of Eicher Motors rose by 55.8 percent to ₹ 3,453.43 crores in the quarter reviewed which was ₹2,216.40 crores last year.
The Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation, and Amortisation (EBITDA) grew up at 75% YoY to an impressive ₹821 crores. Eicher Motors CV business was accelerated by the strong demand for commercial vehicles. The profit share was ₹44 crores as against ₹9.8 crores the previous year.
Siddhartha Lal, Managing Director, Eicher Motors, said, “At the halfway mark, our overall performance has been very encouraging, we have witnessed a great uptick in the momentum with the launch of the new Hunter 350. On the commercial vehicles side, VECV delivered its first large order of 40 Skyline Pro E electric buses to the prestigious city of Chandigarh.”
The Delhi-based Indian manufacturer of motorcycles and commercial vehicles on Thursday reported a 76 percent growth in consolidated net profit to ₹656.86 crores in the second quarter. The company revealed in its regulatory filing that the last year’s net profit was ₹373.20 crores.
