ONO, an agritech startup, has secured Rs 11 crore in its seed funding round, led by Aeravti Ventures with participation from Indigram Labs. The capital infusion is earmarked to bolster the agricultural supply chain and foster inclusive economic growth opportunities for farmers and ecosystem participants within India’s APMC/MANDI network.
Established by Rama Rao Kancharapu, ONO operates as a platform facilitating crop price discovery and mandi insights for farmers. The company’s multifaceted agritech platform aims to enhance transparency and foster trust across the agricultural ecosystem. ONO facilitates access to formal credit, price intelligence, market discovery, and addresses operational inefficiencies.
Claiming notable progress since its inception, ONO operates across six states encompassing 45 APMCs/MANDIs, with over 30,000 partners engaged and transactions spanning seven commodities.
Aeravti Ventures, an early-stage venture capital firm, recently announced the first close of its inaugural Rs 100 crore fund in May the prior year. Following the fund launch, it invested in FreightFox, an intelligent supply chain platform.
ONO specializes in delivering data-driven technology solutions to the agricultural sector. Drawing insights from extensive field research, the company has developed a data-centric digitization platform aimed at tackling critical challenges within the agricultural ecosystem.
