Godrej Properties has unveiled Taj The Trees, an exquisite addition to their flagship project, The Trees, in Vikhroli, Mumbai. This luxury hotel, entirely owned by Godrej Properties and managed by the Indian Hotel Companies, operates as a Taj hotel, epitomizing opulence and sustainability.

Spanning 0.35 million square feet, Taj The Trees boasts 151 rooms, featuring two restaurants—Shamiana and Nonya—a rooftop bar named The Mangrove Bar, an expansive infinity pool, state-of-the-art conference facilities, and a signature spa. The hotel, accredited with an IGBC Platinum certification, has been meticulously designed to offer guests breathtaking views of the mangroves on one side and the public art and sculpture park on the other.

Pirojsha Godrej, Executive Chairperson at Godrej Properties, expressed delight in inaugurating their inaugural hotel venture, Taj The Trees, in collaboration with the esteemed Tata Group. He emphasized their commitment to delivering quality and sustainable luxury within a green, connected, and vibrant neighborhood.

The strategic location of Vikhroli, situated along the Eastern Express Highway and in proximity to both the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and the proposed Navi Mumbai International Airport, positions Taj The Trees in an evolving micro market.

Godrej Properties has been making strategic moves, as evidenced by their recent acquisition of approximately 109 acres of land in Nagpur for a new project. Notably, their project Godrej Tropical Isle in Noida has garnered a booking value of Rs 2,000 crore, underscoring the company’s robust performance.

As of now, there are six Taj hotels in Mumbai, each contributing to the city’s rich hospitality landscape. The Godrej Properties stock, reflecting their successful endeavors, has witnessed over a 30% surge in value in the year 2023, showcasing investor confidence in the company’s trajectory.
