Autocracy Machinery, a machine manufacturing startup, raised Rs 5 crore in a pre-Series A round headed by Venture Catalysts, with participation from Nikhil Jaisinghani, Bharat Jaisinghani, and SFour Capital. The Hyderabad-based startup has previously raised $1.2 million in 2023 from Venture Catalysts, Z Nation Lab, Hem Angels, and others.
Autocracy Machinery said in a press release that the profits will be used to improve its research and development skills, as well as to extend its manufacturing and marketing reach.
Santhoshi Buddhiraju and Laxman Vallakati formed Autocracy in 2020 to manufacture machinery for construction, agriculture, and infrastructure. The company sells trenchers, landscaping machinery, agricultural attachments, and water body conservation machines such as lake cleaners.
Autocracy sends goods to the Middle East and Africa. The company also claims to have high-performance machinery that is reasonably priced for both commercial and individual customers.
The multistage investment business Venture Catalysts Group has relaunched 9Unicorns as 100Unicorns. It also announced the establishment of its second accelerator fund, 100Unicorns Fund II, which has a $200 million target size and a $100 million green-shoe option.
Autocracy Machinery is India’s largest manufacturer of specialized construction, agricultural, and infrastructure machinery and attachments.
