Infibeam Avenues has announced its second significant effort in the Artificial Intelligence area, partnering with academic institutions to expand and accelerate AI use and growth across India.
The company has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the prominent Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad, to promote AI use among corporations, start-ups, and MSMEs.

Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII), Ahmedabad, an autonomous and non-profit institute founded in 1983, is a recognized national resource institute for entrepreneurship education, research, training, startups, MSME growth, incubation, innovations, and institution building. It is supported by apex financial institutions—IDBI Bank Ltd., IFCI Ltd., ICICI Bank Ltd., the State Bank of India (SBI), and the Government of Gujarat.

As part of the MoU, Infibeam Avenues successfully constructed and deployed its THEIA Platform, an advanced video AI Developer Platform, on the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII) campus in Gandhinagar. This deployment will empower EDII students and entrepreneurs with cutting-edge tools for developing their own AI solutions on the THEIA platform, increasing corporate efficiency and capacities.

In addition to THEIA Platform, the Ahmedabad-based business integrated ‘AI Facility Manager’, which collects data from campus CCTVs to monitor allowed and unlawful entry and exits. This platform will also incorporate security management, resource management, occupancy or space monitoring, energy management, and other features on the EDII campus.

According to the news release, Infibean will also support business development prospects for startups, MSMEs, and EDII grantees by leveraging the AI solutions produced under this project.
