The Mahindra XUV700 received 25,000 reservations in the first 57 minutes of its launch on Thursday, according to Mahindra & Mahindra, describing it as an “exceptional milestone in the Indian automotive sector.”
Depending on the variation, 25,000 units of the freshly released model is equivalent to up to six months of manufacturing. According to the firm, this makes the XUV700 the first four-wheeler in India to reach this milestone.
The XUV500 successor is available in five trims, several types (petrol, diesel, automatic and manual gearbox), and five- and seven-seater combinations, with costs ranging from Rs 1,249,000 to Rs 2,299,000.
