Mercedes Announced to Go Full Electric by the End of the Decade 

Mercedes-Benz has announced to go full electric in selected markets by 2030. Anticipating the advancement in technology, company is looking to manufacture electric vehicles by the end of the decade with estimating amount of over € 40 billion.

By 2022, company will have battery electric vehicles (BEV) in all its sectors and will launch only electric ready vehicles from 2025. The company said that it will need a battery capacity of more than 200 Gigawatts-hours. Hence, they are planning to build eight Giga-factories to produce cells.

Mercedes is also looking for the ‘Plug and Charge’ system for its customers. Electric vehicles will replace petroleum vehicles soon. Forecasting this condition, company is set to all prepare for the upcoming market challenges.
