Reliance Retail Ventures Limited (RRVL)’s FMCG division, Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), announced on Wednesday that it has teamed up with Elephant House, a company based in Sri Lanka, to produce, market, distribute, and sell beverages under the Elephant House brand throughout India.
The affiliation aligns with RCPL’s other partnerships and acquisitions, which have facilitated the expansion of its beverage portfolio, which currently includes brands including Raskik, Sosyo, and Campa.
The largest listed corporation in Sri Lanka, John Keells Holdings PLC, owns Elephant House through its subsidiary, Ceylon Cold Stores PLC. It produces and markets a variety of drinks under the Elephant House brand, such as Necto, Cream Soda, EGB (Ginger Beer), Orange Barley, and Lemonade.
