Samsung is Discontinuing the Galaxy Note Series Indefinitely

Samsung released the Galaxy S22 Ultra series this year. With this launch, it was clear that Samsung’s Galaxy Note series was no longer in production. The South Korean corporation revealed that the Samsung Galaxy Note handsets would be discontinued during the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022.

Samsung’s smartphone boss, Roh Tae-moon, told reporters that the Galaxy Note “will come out as Ultra” in the future. The “Ultra” in the title refers to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, which was released earlier this month.

This means that the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 series, which was released in 2020, was the company’s final Galaxy Note smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra was released this year as a replacement for the Galaxy Note, having a similar, more cutting-edge design and an in-built S Pen.
