International Startup Festiva

The city is gearing up to host the third edition of the International Startup Festival 2024 from September 26 to 28, centered on the theme of “Innovation and Entrepreneurship in the AI Era.”.

Telangana’s Chief Minister, A. Revanth Reddy will be inaugurating the event which is organized by International Startup Foundation(ISF) at Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI) in the IT Hub of Gachibowli.

This three-day festival is designed to bridge the gap between high-net-worth individuals (HNIs), venture capitalists, and startups, focusing on addressing the current funding challenges within the industry. Dr. JA Chowdary, ISF convenor and a prominent figure in the Indian tech sector, emphasized that the festival will draw over 500 global investors and corporate leaders. He noted that the event will provide startup founders with a unique opportunity to network, collaborate, and explore avenues for future growth.

“Approximately 500 eminent global investors and corporate leaders are expected to attend the startup festival. This platform will be invaluable for startup founders, allowing them to engage with peers, industry experts, and potential investors. The event aims to foster collaboration among participants, driving innovation and entrepreneurial growth,” Dr. Chowdary stated.

A startup ecosystem is an interconnected system comprising individuals, startups at various stages, and organizations that support the creation and development of new ventures. Key components of this ecosystem include universities, funding bodies, incubators, accelerators, and service providers. Resources such as skills, time, and capital flow through the ecosystem, primarily contributed by the people and organizations involved. Interactions within this ecosystem, facilitated through events like the International Startup Festival, are crucial for mobilizing resources, creating new startups, and strengthening existing ones.

Startup ecosystems are influenced by both external factors, such as economic conditions and market disruptions, and internal dynamics. These ecosystems are inherently dynamic, evolving through stages of formation, facing periodic challenges, and undergoing recovery and growth over time.
