The Pixel 6a was ultimately announced at Google’s annual developer conference this year. The smartphone is a less expensive alternative to the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro. The phone is powered by Google’s Tensor processor and has essentially identical functionality to the prior phones, with a few exceptions. Google unveiled the current Pixel’s US pricing earlier this week, and we now have pricing and color options in more nations where Google plans to sell its latest smartphone.
Google has confirmed that the Pixel 6a will be available for pre-order starting July 21 in the United States and Japan, but it has yet to announce sale dates in other countries.
It’s worth noting that shoppers in Singapore and Ireland will only be able to purchase the Pixel 6a in Charcoal Black, whilst buyers in the rest of the world will be able to choose between Sage and Chalk.
The smartphone is also expected to make an appearance in India. According to previous rumors, the phone has already gone through private testing in India.
