Today, Apple announced the company has reached a settlement in a litigation filed by the developers against it. The agreement needs few changes, which includes developers can share information on how to pay for purchases outside the Apple Store or iOS app.
The agreement means that the developers can tell customers about the payment options, which are not subjected to Apple commissions.
In the announcement, Apple said, the company is “clarifying that developers can use communications, such as emails, to share information about payment methods outside of their iOS app. As always, developers will not pay Apple a commission on any purchases taking place outside of their app or the App Stores.”
