Google Promises 30 days’ Notice Before Calling Employees to Office

According to Sundar Pichai, the Chief Executive of Google, returning to Google offices will remain optional for employees through January 10. Google has given an authority to local offices to decide when to call employees back to office.

Pichai has promised the employees that 30 days’ notice will be given to them before asking them to return to the office. He also announced that the employees will be able to take an extra day off as ‘reset days’ to ‘rest and recharge’ in October and December.

Facebook and other tech giants have also delayed their plan to return to office to in order to limit the spread of COVID-19 infection.
