For anyone travelling from India to the United Kingdom this month, there is no relief in sight. Following an outcry about high tickets on this route as the UK reopens to Indian people, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) solicited India-UK rates from airlines for August on Sunday.

The data that was submitted to the regulatory shows that during August, the minimum fare for Delhi-London nonstop flight ranges from Rs.1,03,191 to Rs.1,47,544 across the four airlines between India and the United Kingdom—Vistara, Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, and Air India.
