When he found that his father was suffering from a progressive neurological condition which didn’t have any cure, he embarked on this journey to find a solution to such problems and began exploring the field of stem cells.
Dr Sadiq studied neurology and neurophysiology in NIMHANS and worked with some of the eminent medical institutions in the Middle East before he set his landmark in India. Over the years, Dr Sadiq has been growing his expertise through Continuing Medical Education (CME) courses and training sessions on tissue culture, stem cell therapy, and neurology. Many of his papers on the treatment of Multiple Sclerosis, Epilepsy, Migraine, and Demyelinating Polyneuropathy have been internationally recognised and published.
Today, Dr Sadiq is the proud recipient of over 60 national and international awards that make him the best Neurologist and Stem cell specialist, not only in India but pan-Asia.

Being an experienced leader, share your opinion on how adopting modern technologies like AI and ML impacts the Healthcare space and how Plexus is adapting to the change.
The pandemic has brought many changes to the practice of medicine. Online consultations, a remote possibility in the past, have now become a routine practice. These have helped to bridge the ever-growing gap between the masses and healthcare providers. Through the practice of online consultations, we are able to provide our services to a huge amount of people at a very low cost. The patient can avail themselves of these services from the comfort of their homes without travelling all the way to the hospital.
Considering the changing scenario what are the challenges you anticipate or are likely to face in the coming times?
Covid has greatly impacted an individual’s overall health which is beyond its impact on the respiratory system. We have seen a steep rise in the number of conditions affecting an individual’s brain and mind: autism, ADHD, Global developmental delay in children and Parkinson’s disease and dementia in adults. Addressing and tackling this disease burden is likely to be one of the major challenges that we are likely to face in the current scenario.
What would be your advice to budding entrepreneurs who aspire to venture into the Healthcare space?
Healthcare is not an easy field. If it’s your calling and you don’t mind spending your days and nights serving your patients without any complaints, go for it. Being an entrepreneur and having a brand of your own is itself very challenging; being in the healthcare industry multiplies those challenges by many folds.
How do you envision scaling Plexus’s operations and offerings in the future?
It’s been eleven years since we envisioned treatment through stem cell therapy here at Plexus. With such vast experience and expertise, and after treating lakhs of patients, we’ve come a long way since then. Presently, we are in the process of spreading our wings and opening new branches within the country and globally too.
