Only a few days after the upcoming Toyota Innova Hycross was tested, the design rendering of the MPV appeared online. The rendering shows the Toyota Innova Hycross’s design components, previewing its final appearance when it is soon introduced in India.
The new Innova Hycross will have a monocoque chassis instead of the ladder frame design that the Innova Crysta has, one of the most significant design changes. Compared to the current Innova Crysta, the front grille has undergone an important update, and the bonnet has been given muscular lines to emphasize the overall design.
The Hycross’s rear profile is not depicted in the design rendering, but based on earlier spy pictures, the MPV will have an upright tailgate and horizontal taillamps.
The new Toyota Innova Hycross will be powered by a Toyota-developed petrol hybrid and a naturally aspirated gasoline engine.
Front-wheel drive will be achieved with the help of both manual and automatic gearbox options. There won’t be a diesel alternative.
